PetSafe Extreme Weather Medium Aluminium Dog Door
The PetSafe Extreme Weather Medium Dog Door is designed for homes, kennels and exterior buildings where reducing draughts and heat loss is important.
Its robust aluminium frame contains a triple-flap system designed to provide much better insulation than a conventional single-flap pet door.
Triple-Flap Insulated Design
The PetSafe Extreme Weather Dog Door uses three separate flap layers to help reduce draughts and cold air passing through the opening.
The inner and outer flaps are flexible and use magnets to help them return to the closed position. Between them is a lightweight insulating centre flap designed to reduce heat transfer through the pet door.
The flap assembly can be adjusted after installation, allowing the flaps to be aligned correctly for smooth operation and effective sealing.
Strong Aluminium Frame
The outer frame is manufactured from aluminium, providing a strong and durable structure suitable for regular use by medium-sized dogs.
Important Door Thickness
This version is designed for doors approximately 37.5mm to 50mm thick.

Internal Slide-In Closing Panel
The dog door includes a strong internal slide-in closing panel with a simple locking system.
The panel can be inserted when you want to prevent your dog from using the door and is also useful during particularly windy or cold weather.

Closing Panel Clearance
The internal slide-in panel requires sufficient clear space above and around the pet door to allow it to be inserted and removed.
Allow approximately 276mm width x 800mm vertical clearance around the internal side of the installation.
Replacement Flap
Replacement flap components are available separately. The compatible replacement flap referenced for this model is PAC11-11038.

Always check the overall frame size, cut-out dimensions and available internal clearance before cutting your door.
If your door or uPVC panel is thinner than 37.5mm, additional packers or the dedicated uPVC installation version may be required.
