Fitting a dog flap in a wall is no easy task but our kit should help you to achieve a professional finish.
The Wall Tunnel Kit
This kit includes the tunnel and outer and inner flaps as shown in the picture.
Fitting a dog flap through a single brick wall or a cavity wall requires a tunnel liner. Our kit has a tunnel liner that is cut to size to fit the dog door outer frame.
The tunnel is provided in a 300mm length which needs to be cut to size to fit the depth of the wall during installation.
Installation
A neat hole is required at the correct size after the tunnel is inserted in the wall making good can be done around the tunnel before the outer frame is screwed into place. The tunnel simply slides into place and is best fitted with a slight slope to the outside to allow prevent drainage to the inner wall.
The dog flap goes on the external side of the tunnel there is a blank slide in the plate that can be used internally in cold weather or when the door is not required.

The tunnel kit has four sides and fixing corners with the required screws.

The outer frame is best sealed with silicone and if you are confident fixing foam may provide quicker making good.

The tunnel comes with a Staywell 740 medium pet door. Which has an internal blanking plate barrier. Supplied with tunnel an extension for door thickness up to 300mm
suitable for any thickness of wall up to 300mm will need to be cut to size.

These doors are big enough for small children to pass through so safety must be considered to avoid escaping children and security should be considered to prevent break-ins.
