For the best fit, measure your dog's chest or girth just behind the front legs. Wrap a flexible tape measure around the widest part of the chest and use the measurement rather than breed alone when selecting a size.

How to Measure Your Dog
Measure around your dog's chest immediately behind the front legs. The harness should fit securely without being excessively tight and should allow your dog to move comfortably.
