The PetSafe Staywell 700 Series Replacement Flap without Magnet is a genuine replacement door for compatible Staywell 705, 706, 715, 720, 725, 730 and 737 pet doors.

This particular version is supplied without the lower magnet. It is ideal when the transparent flap on your existing pet door has become cracked, scratched or damaged but the original magnet is still in good condition and can be reused.

Replacing just the moving flap is a simple and economical way to extend the life of an existing Staywell pet door without replacing the complete frame and installation.

Keep Your Existing Staywell Pet Door

If the frame and other components of your Staywell pet door are still in good condition, there is normally no reason to replace the complete installation simply because the moving flap has become damaged.

Replacing only the flap allows you to retain the existing pet door already installed in your timber door, uPVC panel or other suitable opening.

How to Replace the Staywell 700 Series Flap

Replacement is relatively straightforward and can normally be completed using basic tools.

1. Remove the existing pet door from the door or panel.
2. Separate the frame as required to access the damaged flap.
3. Carefully remove the old flap.
4. Retain the existing lower magnet if it is still in good condition.
5. Transfer the reusable magnet to the new flap where applicable.
6. Fit the new flap into the U-shaped upper hinge section.
7. Position the flap and hinge correctly in the pet door frame.
8. Reassemble the pet door.
9. Refit the complete unit into the existing opening.
10. Check that the flap swings freely and returns correctly to its closed position.
