Unlike many standard microchip cat flaps, the PetPorte Smart Flap can be programmed with timed access controls, allowing you to manage when your cat can leave or return home. Its external scanner reads your cat’s microchip before they reach the flap, helping provide fast and reliable entry while keeping unwanted cats outside.

Microchip-Controlled Selective Entry

The PetPorte Smart Flap reads your cat’s compatible implanted microchip and unlocks the door only for registered pets. This helps prevent neighbouring cats and other unwanted animals from entering your home.

No collar is required, making it a convenient and comfortable option for cats that already have a compatible microchip.

Programmable Timer and Night Mode

Important Microchip Compatibility

The PetPorte Smart Flap is designed for compatible 134.2kHz FDX-B microchips. Some older or unusual microchip formats may not work correctly.

• Microchips containing letters are not compatible.
• Some 10-digit microchips may not be compatible.
• Microchips beginning with 977 may not be recognised.
• Some microchips beginning with 98514 may work with a reduced reading distance.
