The PetSafe Passport Rechargeable Battery is designed for use with the Passport Pet Access Smart System, providing a convenient alternative to powering your pet door directly from a mains power outlet.
The rechargeable battery can be used for normal operation of the Passport Pet Door or kept ready as a backup power source in case of a power cut.
It's particularly useful where there is no convenient electrical socket close to your installed pet door or where you would prefer not to have a power cable running to the door.
