Installation Guide
Replacing the flap is straightforward but requires removing the cat flap from the door.
- Remove the two fixing screws from the outside frame. If fitted, carefully remove the screw covers first.
- Separate the inner section from the outer frame. The outer section may remain sealed to the door.
- Place the inner section on a flat work surface.
- Remove the four crosshead screws from the rear of the unit.
- Carefully separate the front and rear sections, taking care not to strain the internal cable.
- Slide the replacement flap into position, ensuring the curved edge faces towards the front of the cat flap.
- Reassemble the unit and tighten the four screws.
- Check that the flap swings freely before reinstalling the cat flap into the door.
