The system can remember up to 40 registered microchips or compatible RFID collar keys, making it ideal for both single and multi-cat households.

The microchip reading distance can be affected by the materials surrounding the flap. Metal, foil-backed insulation and steel reinforcement may reduce scanner performance.

Before cutting into a wall, always check for:

Door and Glass Installation

The cat flap can also be fitted into suitable timber, uPVC and metal doors. Where metal reinforcement is present, the supplied adaptor may help improve scanner performance by separating the flap from the surrounding metal.

For double-glazed or toughened glass, a new glass unit must be manufactured with the correct opening before installation. Existing sealed or toughened glass cannot normally be cut.
