The PetSafe Staywell 660 Extra Large Dog Flap is a heavy-duty aluminium pet door designed for very large dogs up to 100kg. With a strong aluminium frame, flexible weather-resistant flap and removable locking panel, it is built for larger breeds and busy multi-pet households.
This is one of the largest dog doors in the PetSafe Staywell range, providing an opening suitable for dogs with a maximum shoulder width of approximately 352mm.
Heavy-Duty Extra Large Dog Door
The Staywell 660 features a solid aluminium frame with reinforced corners, making it particularly suitable for large dogs, frequent daily use and households with more than one pet.
The flexible tinted flap is designed to move comfortably as your dog passes through. A magnetic flap closure combined with pile weather stripping around the flap opening helps provide a weather-resistant seal.

Suitable for Very Large Dogs
The generous opening makes the Staywell 660 Extra Large Dog Door suitable for many large and giant dog breeds, subject to the individual dog's measurements.
Measure the widest part of your dog's shoulders and compare this with the 352mm maximum shoulder width. Your dog should have sufficient clearance to move comfortably through the opening.
Flexible Weather-Resistant Flap
The Staywell 660 uses a flexible flap rather than a rigid plastic flap. A magnetic closure helps the flap return to its normal position after your dog has passed through.
Pile weather stripping around the sides of the flap opening helps create a more weather-resistant seal and reduce draughts.
Locking Internal Security Panel
A removable internal closing panel is supplied with the Staywell 660. This allows you to close the pet door when you do not want your dog to go outside.
The panel can also provide an additional barrier during particularly cold or windy weather, helping to reduce heat loss through the pet door.
Installation Information
The Staywell 660 can be installed into suitable doors and panels up to approximately 50mm (2 inches) thick.
The required opening is approximately 642mm high × 366mm wide. Because this is a particularly large cut-out, always check that the door or panel is suitable before cutting.
When installing into a structural, composite or specialist door, consider whether cutting such a large opening could affect the strength, weather resistance or security of the door. Professional installation may be advisable where there is any uncertainty.
