Add Body to Thin & Fine Dog Coats

Fine or sparse coats can sometimes lack the body required to create a well-defined finished style. Isle Thicken helps give individual hairs additional body, making the overall coat appear thicker, fuller and better defined.

It is particularly useful for grooming areas where additional volume is needed and can be adjusted according to the dog's coat type, condition and the desired finished appearance.

With Wheat Amino Acids

The formula contains wheat amino acids, combined with conditioning and styling ingredients to help improve body and shine while keeping the coat manageable during styling.

The result is a coat with greater definition and volume while retaining a groomed, natural appearance.

Full Strength Application

1. Apply Isle Thicken evenly throughout the wet coat using your hands.
2. Comb through using a wide-tooth comb to distribute the product evenly.
3. Allow the product to remain in the coat for approximately 2–3 minutes.
4. Dry using a forced-air dryer.
5. For maximum volume, work from the roots outward while drying.

Diluted Application

1. Mix 1 part Isle Thicken with 15 parts warm water in a suitable misting bottle.
2. Spray evenly onto a wet or dry coat.
3. Allow the product to settle into the coat.
4. Dry and style from the roots outward to help maximise volume.

Adjusting the Amount

The amount required will vary depending on the dog's coat type, coat condition and humidity. Coarser or denser coats may require more product, while finer coats may need considerably less.

Start with a small amount and increase as necessary until the desired level of volume and definition is achieved.

For Additional Volume & Hold

Isle Thicken can be layered with other Vanity Series grooming products. When additional styling control is required, it can be combined with Isle Hold to provide both increased volume and hold.
