Cat Mate Large Glass Fitting Cat Flap
Can you put a cat flap in a glass door? Yes, a range of doors is suitable for double glazing, but the glass needs to be cut before it's toughened, so it's not a DIY job.
Specially developed for most giant cats or small dogs such as Yorkshire Terriers, Pekinese, Dachshund, Minature Poodles, and Spaniels up to a shoulder height of 360mm (14").
The attractive circular design styling of this 4-way locking flap makes this a stylish alternative door with a high gloss finish for easy cleaning. It can fit into all entries up to 50mm (2") thick.
It is particularly recommended for single-glazed double-glazed, or triple-glazed.
The thin design makes this a good choice for sliding doors.

Thinking of fitting a cat flap in glass ? Glass in doors is toughened glass which makes it impossible to cut. To overcome this, the hole for the cat flap needs to be cut before the glass is tempered. So, the preparation of the double-glazed unit needs to be done by a glass supply company.
