PetSafe Staywell 760 Caramel Oak on White Large Dog Flap

The PetSafe Staywell 760 Large Dog Flap is a strong, practical pet door for larger dogs, professionally finished in a two-colour combination with Caramel Oak on the external face and White on the internal face.

This allows the outside of the dog flap to complement Caramel Oak and similar oak-coloured uPVC or composite doors while keeping a clean white appearance inside the property.

The Staywell 760 features a strong rigid clear flap for regular daily use and is supplied with an internal slide-in closing panel for controlling access when required.

Caramel Oak Outside, White Inside

This version of the Staywell 760 has a professionally sprayed Caramel Oak external frame, while the internal frame remains white.

The colour is intended to complement oak-coloured doors and frames where a standard white external pet door would be more noticeable.

This is a professionally sprayed-to-order product and is therefore not returnable.

The original PetSafe Staywell 760 is opened and professionally prepared so that the external frame can be sprayed in the Caramel Oak colour. The internal frame remains white.

Because the colour finish is applied after manufacture, the sprayed finish is not covered by the PetSafe manufacturer's warranty.

During preparation and spraying, the product must be handled. As a result, minor marks or signs of handling may occasionally be visible. These do not affect the performance or operation of the dog flap.

Colour accuracy: Oak colours vary considerably between door, window and profile manufacturers. Screen settings, lighting conditions and differences between sprayed and foiled finishes can also affect how the colour appears.

The Caramel Oak finish is a plain sprayed colour. It is not a woodgrain foil and will not reproduce the grain pattern of a foiled oak door.

The finish is intended to complement Caramel Oak and similar oak-coloured products, but an exact colour match to foiled uPVC, composite doors or other factory-finished products cannot be guaranteed.

Internal Slide-In Closing Panel

The Staywell 760 is supplied with a strong internal slide-in closing panel. This can be fitted when you want to prevent your dog from using the door.

The panel can also be useful overnight or during particularly cold or windy weather when you want the pet opening completely closed.

Important: Make sure there is sufficient clear space above the dog flap for the closing panel to slide upwards before cutting your door.

Tunnel for Doors up to 50mm Thick

Tunnel sections are supplied to line installations through doors and panels up to approximately 50mm / 2 inches thick.

The tunnel provides a neat finish to the cut opening and helps cover exposed internal edges.

For walls or deeper installations, an additional tunnel lining will normally need to be constructed using suitable rigid material.

Installing in a Composite Door

The Staywell 760 can be fitted into many composite doors, but the construction of the door must be checked carefully before installation.

Raised decorative mouldings may interfere with the dog flap frame, and sufficient clearance must be available above the pet door for the internal slide-in closing panel.

Any exposed edge created when cutting a composite door should be properly sealed against moisture. A suitable trim, rigid angle or architrave can be used where appropriate to provide a neat, weather-resistant finish.
