The PetSafe Staywell 760 Large Dog Flap is a strong, practical pet door for larger dogs, professionally finished in Black on both the external and internal faces.

This all-black finish gives the dog flap a clean, coordinated appearance on black uPVC, composite and painted doors while retaining the proven Staywell 760 design.

The door features a strong rigid clear flap for regular daily use and is supplied with an internal slide-in closing panel for controlling access when required.

Black Outside, Black Inside

Both sides of this Staywell 760 are professionally finished in Black, giving the pet door a consistent appearance inside and outside the property.

This makes it a useful alternative to the standard white Staywell 760 where the pet door is being fitted into a black door or where a darker finish is preferred throughout.

The original PetSafe Staywell 760 is professionally prepared and sprayed Black on both sides after manufacture.

Because the colour finish is applied after manufacture, the sprayed finish is not covered by the PetSafe manufacturer's warranty.

During preparation and spraying, the product must be handled. As a result, minor marks or signs of handling may occasionally be visible. These do not affect the performance or operation of the dog flap.

Colour accuracy: Black shades and finishes can vary between manufacturers. Screen settings, lighting conditions and differences between sprayed, foiled and factory-coloured surfaces can also affect how the colour appears.

The supplied finish is a plain sprayed Black and may not exactly match black foiled uPVC, composite doors or other factory-finished products.

Internal Slide-In Closing Panel

The Staywell 760 is supplied with a strong internal slide-in closing panel. This can be fitted when you want to prevent your dog from using the door.

The panel can also be useful overnight or during particularly cold or windy weather when you want the pet opening completely closed.

Important: Make sure there is sufficient clear space above the dog flap for the panel to slide upwards before cutting your door.

Tunnel for Doors up to 50mm Thick

Tunnel sections are supplied to line installations through doors and panels up to approximately 50mm / 2 inches thick.

The tunnel provides a neat finish to the cut opening and helps cover exposed internal edges.

For walls or deeper installations, an additional tunnel lining will normally need to be constructed using suitable rigid material.

Installing in a Composite Door

The Staywell 760 can be fitted into many composite doors, but the construction of the door must be checked carefully before installation.

Raised decorative mouldings may interfere with the dog flap frame, and sufficient clearance must be available above the pet door for the internal slide-in panel.

Any exposed edge created when cutting a composite door should be properly sealed against moisture. A suitable trim, rigid angle or architrave can be used where appropriate to provide a neat, weather-resistant finish.

The original packaging is opened only so that the product can be professionally prepared and sprayed.
